The drunken-driving manslaughter trial of former Olympic diving medalist Bruce Kimball has been postponed until a judge in Tampa, Fla., can determine if the national publicity the case received would preclude a fair trial.

Kimball, 25, allegedly was intoxicated when he slammed his car into a crowd of young people Aug. 1 in Brandon, Fla., killing two teen-agers and injuring six others.

He is charged with 2 counts of drunken-driving manslaughter and three counts of drunken driving causing serious bodily injury.
