Oxford Launches Fund Appeal

LONDON —
Oxford University, founded more than 700 years ago and one of Britain’s top learning institutions, launched an international appeal for funds today because of government cash cuts.
Vice Chancellor Sir Patrick Neill announced a “Campaign for Oxford” which is intended to raise $385 million over the next five years from industry, private donors and graduates.
