Local News in Brief : Costa Mesa : New OCC Center Aims to Aid Transfer Students

Orange Coast College, which already has more transfers to 4-year universities than any other community college in the state, has opened a new Transfer Center to help students who want to seek a bachelor's degree.

College officials said the new center puts all the transfer functions into one coordinated office. The center is in the college's Admissions and Counseling Building.

Representatives from UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Long Beach and USC are in the OCC Transfer Center each month, college officials said.
