Family of 12 Evicted From University Dorm

SOUTHAMPTON, England —
A 42-year-old British philosophy student, his pregnant wife and 10 of their 12 children were evicted from a university dormitory today after they fell $3,500 behind in their weekly rent of $335.
A Southampton University spokesman said its student accommodations were not equipped to handle such a large family. Dannie Walter, his wife and 10 of their children, aged 18 months to 16 years, had been living in 10 student rooms.
