Israeli troops fired on stone-throwing youths during a raid on a West Bank village, killing an 18-year-old Palestinian, and 12 more people were reported wounded in clashes in the occupied territories. Mujahed Ahmed Abdul Karim died of a bullet wound in the heart, and four others were struck with plastic bullets when troops raided the village of Yasid near Nablus, officials at Al Ittihad hospital said. Arab witnesses said the stone-throwing began when troops entered Yasid to force villagers to take down Palestinian flags and to paint over anti-Israeli graffiti. In the Gaza Strip, seven Palestinians, including an 8-year-old boy, were wounded by plastic bullets during a confrontation with troops hospital officials said.
