‘Veterans Food Bank’ Radiothon on KLOS

At 9 this morning, KLOS-FM (95.5) begins a third annual 55-hour “Veterans Food Bank” radiothon to raise money for accredited private and public agencies that provide free food to the needy. The radiothon continues until 4 p.m. Sunday.

The station’s regular format will be dropped in favor of Vietnam-era music and sound tracks and interviews with rock music performers. Last year, more than $160,000 was raised.
