Police in Ulster uncovered a major Protestant paramilitary arms cache that could have been used against targets in the Irish Republic, according to Tom King, Britain’s secretary for Northern Ireland. At least 10 people were arrested in the border county of Armagh after police uncovered what they called “a substantial quantity of munitions,” including a rocket launcher with five warheads, pistols and 12,000 rounds of ammunition.
