Hey, wanna buy a very small piano with a very big history for a whole lot of money? Then get to Sotheby’s auction house in New York on Dec. 16, when the piano used in the Paris flashback scenes in the classic film “Casablanca” goes up for sale. The piano--which is expected to go for as much as $100,000--is just 42 inches high and has only 58 keys. The seller is a fan of the 1942 movie who bought the piano from Warner Bros. Said piano was also used in late 1943 in a U.S. Savings Bond drive that included Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney and Lucille Ball. Other items up for bids: the black hat worn by the Wicked Witch of the West in “The Wizard of Oz” and Clark Gable’s leather-bound script from “Gone With the Wind.”
