Japan’s new car sales in November totaled 446,403 units, up 5.4% over October and 15.9% over a year ago, according to the Japan Automobile Dealers’ Assn., which attributed the results to brisk demand for newly introduced models. It was the first time in two months the new car sales marked a double-digit, year-on-year rise, the association said. The November sales included 32,018 passenger cars, up 16% over a year ago; 121,961 trucks, up 15.8%, and 1,424 buses, up 18.3%.
