In your editorial you note that “ . . . The state does not have enough to justify any waste--whether from sloppy farm irrigation or from hosing off sidewalks in Glendale or Marin County.”
On Nov. 13 we had rain much of the night and the ground got a good soaking. Imagine my chagrin to find (as I walked the dog) that all the automatic sprinklers were going full blast up and down the street as if nothing had happened. Speak of waste.
