Bill Lewis, the defensive coordinator and secondary coach at Georgia, was named coach at East Carolina, replacing Art Baker, who resigned Oct. 30. Baker, who had a 4-year record of 12-32 at East Carolina, is now associate athletic director at South Carolina.
