Bonn Reportedly Jails 2 for Passing Secrets

COLOGNE, West Germany —
Two people have been arrested for passing top-secret electronic tank components to the Soviet Bloc, a West German newspaper reported Friday.
The Cologne Express said the two had handed over components for the West German Leopard tank and high-technology equipment such as microprocessors. It said they were detained by police Thursday.
The federal prosecutor’s office in Karlsruhe would neither confirm nor deny the report.
