It has been 2 years, but Sean Elliott remembers losing to Nevada Las Vegas.

Elliott had 32 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists Saturday to lead 10th-ranked Arizona to an 86-75 victory over the ninth-ranked Runnin’ Rebels at Tucson.

“I didn’t have anything personal against them, it just looked that way,” Elliott said after the Wildcats avenged that 92-87 defeat to Nevada Las Vegas.

“It was almost like a playground out there. Words were going back and forth, and bodies were flying. UNLV was playing like it was their last day on Earth.”
