Vatican Yule Tree Up
VATICAN CITY — Workers erected a 83-foot-high Christmas tree in St. Peter’s Square on Wednesday, a tradition begun by Pope John Paul II four years ago.
The tree was brought by truck from Pieve di Cadore, an alpine village in northern Italy.
