WORLD : U.S., Greece at Impasse on Bases

ATHENS — Greece and the United States today failed to reach agreement on the future of U.S. bases here after the expiration of a defense pact Dec. 20 but will continue talks next year, government spokesman Sotiris Kostopoulos said today.
