4 Burmese Land Safely After 40 Days Adrift

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka —
Four Burmese fishermen adrift on the high seas for 40 days have landed safely in northeastern Sri Lanka, about 1,100 miles away, authorities said Friday.
The four had been drifting since their fishing boat developed engine trouble in mid-November off Burma, authorities said.
