Walesa Accepts Bid to Visit Norway in May

WARSAW —
Solidarity leader Lech Walesa accepted an invitation Tuesday to visit Norway in May, his second trip abroad since the independent trade union was banned seven years ago, Solidarity officials said.
The invitation from the Norwegian government, Parliament and trade unions was delivered to Walesa in his home town of Gdansk.
