Fencing, Gating Ceremonies Set at Park Labrea

Forest City Enterprises, the Cleveland-based owners of Park Labrea, and its management will hold ground-breaking ceremonies on Thursday at 9 a.m. for the fencing and gating improvement project at Park Labrea.

The improvements, expected to exceed $1 million, will provide the 176-acre park with three main manned guard entrances at 6th Street and Curson Avenue, 3rd Street and Burnside Avenue and an entry from Hauser Boulevard for the adjoining eastern sector.

The park consists of 1,499 garden units and 18 high-rises, with 153 apartments in each building, and houses about 10,000 residents.
