Missile in Mock Attack

WASHINGTON —
A Navy Tomahawk cruise missile was launched Tuesday from a submarine submerged off the coast of Maine and flew a mock land attack to a naval reservation near Rangely, the Pentagon announced. The missile is intended to provide the Navy with an all-weather option to manned aircraft strikes against heavily defended targets.
