U.S. Women Cagers Win Deaf Games Title

CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand — The U.S. women’s basketball team won its third straight gold medal in the World Games for the Deaf, beating New Zealand, 60-37, in the final at Cowles Stadium Sunday.
In a men’s basketball game, the Americans defeated New Zealand, 141-44.
