A former Navy technician pleaded innocent in Norfolk, Va., to charges he tried to sell anti-submarine warfare secrets to the Soviets. U.S. District Judge Robert G. Doumar set an April 3 trial for Craig D. Kunkle, 39, of Virginia Beach, Va., who was arrested and charged with espionage Jan. 10 in an FBI sting. Kunkle said he wanted to become a Soviet spy for the money and to get back at the Navy, which discharged him for indecent exposure in 1985, the FBI said.
