Soviets Hold Nuclear Test

MOSCOW —
The Soviet Union conducted an underground nuclear test Sunday at its test site near the Central Asian city of Semipalatinsk, the official news agency Tass reported. It said the explosion had a yield of 20 to 150 kilotons.
