Prime Computer reported a fourth-quarter loss of $14.4 million, contrasted with earnings of $21.3 million a year ago due in part to $32.85 million in restructuring and other charges. Revenue rose 61% to $431.1 million. The Natick, Mass.-based computer maker said the increase in revenue resulted from strong sales of computer products for design and manufacturing, increased demand in international markets and an increase in customer upgrades to high-end minicomputers.
