Matthews Equipment Acquired by Captech
Captech in Los Angeles has acquired Matthews Studio Equipment, based in Burbank, in exchange for 4.9 million shares of Captech common stock.
For the year that ended Sept. 30, Matthews had net income of $223,000 on sales of $8.3 million. Matthews is a maker and supplier of grip lighting equipment for the film and television markets.
