Hasbro Inc.’s net income rose more than 50% to $72.4 million for 1988. Revenue for the year was $1.36 billion, up from $1.35 billion. The Pawtucket, R.I., toy maker said earnings growth came from both international and domestic segments and despite the $16.4 million in pretax costs associated with the now-discontinued development of an interactive video entertainment system.
