The International City Celebration reported accumulating a surplus of $54,483 that will be donated to the city, according to the group’s final report. Of that, $6,204 was surplus revenue from the sale of tiles and bronze plaques mounted in Centennial Plaza in the City Hall complex.

Besides resulting in favorable publicity for the city, the centennial also leaves behind some lasting tributes. Ten flag poles and bronze photograph display cases were among the improvements made in Centennial Plaza.
