Local News In Brief : Westminster : Seniors’ King, Queen of Hearts to Be Named
Voting will be intense, promise Valentine’s Day organizers, but the King and Queen of Hearts selected among senior citizens will be announced Tuesday.
The unusual balloting will be taking place now through Valentine’s Day at the Westminster Senior Center, 9200 Westminster Blvd., program coordinator Sharon Wentzel said.
“Our king and queen will be crowned Tuesday after a special Valentine’s Day luncheon and bake sale,” Wentzel said.
