Manny Schatz Heads Builders Conference

Manny Schatz, vice president for marketing and sales of Grupe Development, San Ramon, has been named president of the 31st annual Pacific Coast Builders Conference, to be held June 14-17 in San Francisco’s Moscone Convention Center.

The conference is sponsored by the California Building Industry Assn.

Conference officers are: Hugh Temple,, Santa Monica, first vice president, and Joe Pickett Jr., Fresno, second vice president.

Directors are: Kenneth Agid, Irvine; Harold A. Boex, Vallejo, CBIA president; Dennis Chiniaeff, Rancho California; George R. Cook, Sacramento, CBIA executive vice president and chief executive officer, and David Coombs, San Jose.

Other directors are: Sid Dunmore, Roseville; Victor Freeman, Benicia; Richard L. Hall, Orange, CBIA first vice president; Allen Jaffe, San Diego; Aaron Kolkey, San Diego, and Bill O’Neill, Palo Alto.
