North Carolina theater-goers and critics alike are bug-eyed over dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov’s portrayal of a cockroach in Franz Kafka’s stage play “Metamorphosis,” which is enjoying a sold-out pre-Broadway run at Duke University in Durham. The Raleigh News and Observer described Baryshnikov as “simply amazing.” “Metamorphosis” opens on Broadway March 6.
