SOUTHLAND : Reiner Targets Truant Juveniles
Calling truancy a warning sign of habitual criminal conduct, Dist. Atty. Ira Reiner announced today his office will begin prosecuting juveniles who repeatedly ditch school.

Reiner’s Truancy Mediation Program is part of the innovative approach to curb gang violence that he announced at the beginning of his second term.
