Gustav Weder edged Nico Baracchi by .05 of a second with a solid comeback, leading a Swiss sweep of top honors in the World Four-Man Bobsled Championships at Cortina, Italy.

Baracchi led after two runs on Saturday, but Weder was faster in the last two Sunday in 53.38 and 53.78 seconds. That earned him the gold medal with an aggregate of 3:34.31.

Matt Roy of Lake Placid, N.Y., was 12th in 3:36.26. He had runs of 53.70 and 54.43.
