Georgia Governor’s Aunt Found Slain in Her Home

CARTERSVILLE, Ga. —
An aunt of Gov. Joe Frank Harris, found slain in her home, was strangled, perhaps by a robber, police said Monday.
Allie Morrow Roper, 75, was found Sunday morning after she failed to pick up neighbors for church. Police said there were signs of unlawful entry at the house, where she lived alone.
