Explosives Joke Bombs; Jet Passenger Charged

INDIANAPOLIS —
A charter flight carrying more than 350 people made an unscheduled landing Saturday at Indianapolis International Airport after a passenger joked about having explosives, authorities said.
Anthony Glynn Pierson, 23, of Rochester Hill, Mich., was charged with violating the false information act and making threats.
The L-1011 from Detroit continued on to Cancun, Mexico, after a search turned up nothing, an airport official said.
