Nuclear Plant in India Shut Down Over Leak

MADRAS, India —
Engineers at a nuclear power plant in southern India closed down a reactor after discovering a heavy-water leak, officials said Saturday.
The 235-megawatt unit at the Kalpakkam plant in Tamil Nadu was shut Friday as a precautionary measure.
