For many Orange County buyers, condominiums are lower-priced alternatives to single-family homes. But you can also spend up to $569,000 on a condo here.

That was the basic price for a top-of-the-line condo at the Laguna Sur development in Laguna Niguel, according to a recent survey of the county’s condominium market by First American Title Insurance Co.

At the opposite end of the price scale, American Skylines Real Estate Services was selling condos at its Cabrillo Park development in Santa Ana for $62,900.

The survey, based on data compiled in November from all developments selling units, disclosed that the median price of a new condominium in the county was $141,900, and the average price was $176,033.
