Stanton Will Coach Raiders’ Defensive Backs

The Raiders hired Jack Stanton, a veteran of 27 years in college and professional football coaching, as defensive backfield coach Wednesday.

Stanton served for two years as defensive backfield coach of the Atlanta Falcons in 1984 and 1985. He was the linebacker coach at Purdue in 1986 and defensive coordinator at New Mexico the last two seasons.
