As a concerned resident, self-educated environmentalist and a crew member of this fragile and irreplaceable spaceship Earth, thank you for the excellence of your expanding news coverage and insightful editorials about the environmental crisis we are confronting. Your editorial “Planet in Trouble” was a terrific example of the focus and action needed to galvanize us locally and nationally in order to think and contribute globally.
Conservation must become a way of life. We must now live, sleep and breath it if we are to accomplish the almost overwhelming challenge of restoring a balance and respect for our precious and unique ecosystems that took millions of years to create, yet which we are destroying in the blink of an eye, with a look-the-other-way attitude.
