USC’s basketball team will conclude its regular season when the Trojans play at California today at 3 p.m.
The Trojans are 9-20 overall and 2-15 in the Pacific 10 Conference. The Golden Bears are 18-11 overall and 9-8 in the Pac-10.
Leonard Taylor, a 6-foot-8 senior, is averaging 19.5 points and 8.3 rebounds in leading Cal.
“I think Cal is a sure thing for the NIT and still on the bubble for the NCAA,” USC Coach George Raveling said. “It’s a difficult game because of Cal’s record at home (12-3). The key will be to contain Taylor.”
