Serious differences have emerged during talks in Warsaw between representatives of the Polish government and the Solidarity union on mass media access and local self-management, Solidarity spokesman Janusz Onyszkiewicz told a news conference. He said authorities reject the idea of allowing Solidarity free access to radio and television, a key demand of the trade union formed in 1980 and banned in 1982.
