Law enforcement costs at a weekend gathering of neo-Nazi skinheads was between $200,000 and $400,000, said the sheriffs of Solano and Napa counties. Although only a few dozen people took part in what originally was billed as the “Aryan Woodstock” near Napa, about 500 anti-racism protesters showed up despite a cold rain. Two protesters were arrested. About 200 officers were deployed to keep the groups apart, officials said, while another 250 from seven local and state jurisdictions were in reserve. The White Aryan Resistance and American Front had planned a rock concert, but a Napa County judge ruled that the group had not obtained a music permit.
