Beverly Hills : ‘Tree City U.S.A.’ Award
For the fourth consecutive year, Beverly Hills has been named “Tree City U.S.A.” by the National Arbor Day Foundation.
Beverly Hills, famous for its abundance of tree species, was given the designation because it meets the four municipal tree-care standards established by the National Arbor Day Foundation: a legally constituted municipal tree organization, a city tree ordinance, a comprehensive community forestry program and observance of Arbor Day.
