Pope to Visit S. Korea

SEOUL —
Pope John Paul II will visit South Korea in October to attend a world Roman Catholic meeting in Seoul, church officials said Thursday. They said more than 20,000 foreign clergy and lay people are expected for the International Eucharistic Congress, scheduled for Oct. 5-8. The Pope is due to arrive on Oct. 7 for a three-day stay.
