AIDS Testing Clinic Raided; Owner Arrested
A Laguna Beach man has been arrested on suspicion of practicing medicine without a license at what authorities are calling a bogus AIDS testing clinic in Ontario.
Ontario police, along with a host of other federal and state agencies, raided the Associated Immune Testing Center on Thursday and arrested its owner, Earl Myer Rice, 48.
According to Ontario Police Department spokesman Mike Guderian, Rice was arrested on suspicion of practicing medicine without a license with the risk of serious injury.
He is being held at the San Bernardino County Jail, authorities said.
