Custom Arbors Create English Cottage Look : For June Weddings, You Can Purchase a Custom Gateway for the Bride.

A quick way to achieve the English cottage garden look is with ready-made and assembled white wooden arbors, arches, and gates.

Available from Sam’s Gazebo in Torrance, a basic arch makes a charming entry to the back yard or rose garden. A sturdier version comes with a half-high double gate that latches in the middle of the arch. This fanciful white garden gate within a fetching arbor, perhaps attached to a picket fence, could create feeling of separation of one garden room from another while framing a view beyond.

Another version of the arbor has criss-crossed lattice and shelving for displaying potted plants on the patio or in a solarium. Even more useful is an arch with a sturdy garden bench backed with diamond lattice work.

For June weddings, Sam’s arches also create a lovely gateway for the bride to pass through.

Basic arches begin at $129, and they’re all displayed at Rolling Hills Plaza, 2505 Pacific Coast Highway, Torrance. However, the store is hard to locate and you may want to call 213/326-5480 for clues on finding Sam’s Gazebos before you start out.
