Vreni Schneider and Pirmin Zurbriggen, who won most of Switzerland’s medals at the World Championships in Vail, Colo., last February, also dominated the national title races, which ended today.

Schneider, who also won the 1988 World Cup, had an edge of 2.03 seconds over runner-up Yolanda Kindler in taking the slalom and was 0.59 seconds ahead of Kindler in the giant slalom.

Zurbriggen beat runner-up Peter Muller by 1.53 seconds to win the super-G, then added a giant slalom victory by edging Martin Hangl, the giant slalom gold medalist at Vail.
