“Recalling ‘Forgotten Genocide,’ ” Feb. 9, we were treated to the half truths and historical revisions propounded by Justin McCarthy. McCarthy’s livelihood depends on Turkey, whose propaganda machine he has become.
In addition, a large amount of space was dedicated to parroting Turkish government propaganda regarding the Armenian genocide.
If the point of the article was not our recently published handbook on the genocide but rather issues arising from the genocide, then, at the very least, a scholar of good repute should have been approached.
