In your wordy article about the Wall Street Journal’s loss of readership, you overlooked a likely contributing cause (Part I, March 12).

That is, the liberal bent that paper has taken under its new handlers.

To readers who believe strongly in capitalism, it is blasphemy for the bastion of free enterprise to switch to advocacy of social tinkering like . . . well . . . like you guys.
