WORLD : China Official Fired for Sex Offense
A senior Chinese official has been dismissed from both the Communist Party and his provincial post for visiting prostitutes, a newspaper said today in a rare report on sexual misconduct by top government employees.
Police caught Zhu Wendui and three friends in the act with prostitutes at a massage parlor in Lohu district in Guangdong province Jan. 5, the Periodical Digest reported. Zhu was fired from his job as deputy head of the Labor Bureau in Shenzhen, a special economic zone in Guangdong, and as a member of the party committee of the Labor Bureau.
