Taylor Resigns From Citadel: Citadel Holding Corp. reported that James A. Taylor has resigned as chairman, chief executive and president of the Glendale-based firm. Taylor advised Citadel that, among other things, health reasons and the advice of his physician formed the basis for his actions. Taylor also resigned from the same positions he held at Fidelity Federal Savings & Loan Assn., Citadel’s wholly owned subsidiary. Taylor will continue to serve as a director on both the Citadel and Fidelity boards. Vice Chairman Edward L. Kane will succeed Taylor as chairman of the respective boards. Samuel C. McCarver, executive vice president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Citadel and Fidelity, was designated managing officer of both companies.
