$2.5 Million in Bogus Bills Seized, 5 Arrested

WIESBADEN, West Germany —
Police have cracked a dollar forgery ring, seizing a buried cache of bank notes with a face value of $2.5 million and arresting five men.
Officials said Tuesday they are holding five West Germans suspected of distributing forged notes found earlier this year in France, Canada and Switzerland.
